Dr. Frankie Chan is the President of the Thai-Korea Natural Phellinus Mushroom Research Center.

Dr. Chan has extensive experience in medicinal mushroom and business. He found the Thai-Korea

Natural Phellinus Mushroom Research Center with Dr. Jae-Mo Sung of Kangwon University, Korea in 2000. Together they

recruited some of the world’s most renowned research institutions and scientists to join them in the research of natural

Phellinus mushroom.

Mr. So, an Engineer and owner of Phon-Mark company in Taiwan. His wife, has been suffering

with back pain for over 10 years and was cured after taking wild natural Phellinus linteus mushroom,

he is determined to support the foundation

Co-Founder

Dr. Jae-Mo Sung is the co-founder of the Thai-Korea Natural Phellinus Mushroom Research Center.

Dr. Sung received his Ph.D. in 1985 from the Chungnam National University, Korea, department of

Agronomy. Dr. Sung is considered to be the authority on the study of medicinal mushrooms, especially

for his extensive research work on Cordyceps sinensis (Cordyceps). Dr. Sung is also an emeritus

professor at Kangwon National University, Korea; and a director of Mushtech Cordyceps Institute,

Korea.

Advisors / Scientis

Dr. Leo Van Griensven is the chief scientist at the Thai-Korea Natural Phellinus Mushroom Research

Center. Dr. Griensven studied Plant Pathology and received his Ph.D. in the molecular aspects of virus

replication at Wageningen University, the Netherlands, and earned a post doc degree at Paris

University in the hematology laboratory of Hopital St. Louis where he specialized in the study of

experimental leukemia viruses. (more)

Dr. Yoke Meng Wong graduated from medical school and received his post graduate degree in Obstetric

and Gynecology in Singapore. Trained in Singapore, France, USA and Switzerland, he is able to

assimilate the best practices from all of these countries and produce the most comprehensive
